How to become a Rotarian
Below are the steps to becoming a Rotarian. If you're interested in joining with the support of your employer, please check out our corporate membership option.
01.
Attend A Meeting
If you're interested in joining Rotary, it's a great idea to attend a meeting as a guest to learn more about the format and how it works. Meetings typically consist of lunch and a guest speaker!
02.
Apply For Membership
In order to apply, you must have a sponsor from within the club and attend 1 meeting before requesting the membership application. If you don't have a sponsor, please attend at least 3 meetings.
03.
Membership Dues
Membership dues are $175/quarter (~$14/lunch meeting) and the only fundraiser members are required to participate in is the Pork and Corn Feed. Around 2,500 people attend that event so selling tickets for it is pretty easy (20 tickets at $10/ticket). And volunteering for a shift on the day of the feed is a great way to get in front of the community and build relationships with other Rotarians.
